We are seeking an Early Childhood Education Teacher for Keimolanmäen day care starting 1 September 2026 or by agreement. Keimolanmäen day care operates with six local areas; each area runs two child groups and has dedicated spaces. The unit emphasizes strong small-group activities aligned with the early education curriculum and operates within the ProVaka approach, where adults model positive behavior and support inclusive practices to develop social skills. The kindergarten shares facilities with Keimolanmäen school, including a restaurant, gym, and yard, with daily collaboration and shared spaces. We offer comprehensive orientation and mentorship opportunities, supportive staff who help with everyday tasks, a positive and relaxed work environment, and opportunities to contribute to developing our operating culture. Work shifts are generally from 7:50 to 16:09 with one full Sak day planned per rotation and a common Sak time once a week for all teachers. We are a team that values diverse languages and cultures, inclusion, active pedagogy, movement and play. We look for enthusiasm and competence in pedagogical play and using pictures to support communication.
