Job Description We are now looking for a Data Engineer for a permanent position in our Data unit. In the position, you will be responsible for the data of your designated responsibility unit as well as its development and maintenance together with your skilled teammates and business units. You will ensure that data and analytics solutions help Fennia achieve its business goals and that we use the best methods, technologies, and tools in utilizing and analyzing information. Together, our team ensures that the solutions we produce meet the needs of Fennia's entire business. In your fair team, about 10 evolving data professionals work, with expertise in different areas of data development. Bold business units are our best friends, so you will get to work closely in business development as a data expert. Our common goal is to get all the benefit from data and analytics for our customers' venturing and living. What we expect from you We hope that you have experience in data warehouse development, modeling, maintenance, and run orchestration, as well as the use of SQL. You have a careful working style, as data quality and integrity are important to us and regulatory compliance guides our operations. We work in Finnish and English, so good proficiency in both languages is a prerequisite for success in the position. Success in the position also requires: - expertise in Data Vault modeling - expertise in Dimensional modeling - a suitable university degree In addition, we value: - experience with databases - knowledge of some ETL tool - experience in optimizing query performance - experience with version control - experience with cloud technologies, AWS - knowledge of the insurance business Why should you seize the opportunity?
