Electrical Engineering Professionals for Data Center Projects

We are preparing with our customers for the next stages of upcoming data center projects and building a talent pool for various electrical engineering roles in Finland. We are looking for people at different experience levels. Future opportunities may include roles such as Electrical Engineer, Electrical Specialist, Senior Electrical Engineer, Electrical Lead, Electrical SME or Electrical Manager. Electrical and energy engineering professionals at the beginning of their careers or recent graduates who are interested in data center and critical infrastructure projects are also welcome to join the pool. What kinds of tasks may be available? The tasks and responsibilities depend on the project and your experience and expertise. They may include, for example: - Work related to the design, implementation and technical support of data center electrical systems. - Working with medium- and low-voltage systems (MV/LV), transformers, switchgear, UPS systems or backup power solutions. - Reviewing electrical plans, drawings and other technical documentation. - Supporting the testing and commissioning of electrical systems. - Investigating technical problems and coordinating solutions. - Collaborating with project teams, contractors, equipment suppliers and other technical specialists. Future opportunities may arise in different parts of Finland, and the exact locations will depend on the customer projects at the time. What do we hope for from you? Your background may be in electrical, energy or automation engineering. Depending on the role and its level of responsibility, we value, for example: - Relevant technical education or equivalent practical experience. - Experience with electrical systems, electrical design, technical projects, commissioning or critical infrastructure. - Understanding of medium- and low-voltage systems (MV/LV), power distribution, transformers, switchgear, UPS systems or backup power solutions. - Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, plans and other technical documentation. - A systematic and safety-oriented approach to work. - Good collaboration and problem-solving skills. - Readiness to work in an international project environment. Previous data center experience is valuable, but is not required for every future role. Experience in the energy sector, power grids, industry, power plants or other technically demanding and critical environments may also provide an excellent foundation for working on data center projects. Your career may just be beginning, or you may already have extensive experience designing, implementing or leading demanding electrical systems.
