What you’ll do: - Cultivates expert knowledge of the market/ industry trends and architectural knowledge, advising stakeholders on large-scale, high complexity solutions. - Influences multi-faceted, highly complex deal cycles, with significant and impactful revenue growth and business contributions. - Expert on an architecture, expands knowledge across related architectures to enhance deal outcomes. - Leverages competitive intelligence to guide account-specific planning and influence proposal development, ensuring Cisco's offerings are presented as superior choices. - Engages with senior stakeholders to align customer and Cisco objectives. - Drives strategic-analysis initiatives through collaborations with industry analysts to future-proof account strategies - Develops and leads discussions on long-term architectural strategies that securely position Cisco as the preferred solution due to its competitive advantages in security, scalability, and support. - Identifies and interprets shifts in the competitive landscape to provide strategic recommendations to internal and external stakeholders. - Highlights to customers Cisco’s ongoing commitment to innovation and R&D, emphasizing future readiness. - Serves as a key advisor to relevant senior stakeholders within the buying center, proactively sharing industry trends/ insights and leading technical solutions discussions with a goal towards positioning Cisco architecture as product of choice. Minimum Qualifications: - Proven ability in proactive business development, including prospecting and driving net-new opportunities. - Skilled in orchestrating and collaborating with cross-functional teams (Channel, SEs, Customer Success, Delivery) throughout complex sales cycles. - Excellent time management and prioritization skills; able to manage multiple concurrent opportunities and deadlines. - Outstanding communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. - Self-motivated, results-oriented, and a team player who thrives in a high-growth, collaborative environment. - Bachelors +8 years related experience, or, Masters +6 years related experience, or, PhD +3 years related experience.
