Childcare Worker

Sodankylä municipality announces a fixed-term vacancy for a childcare worker in early childhood education, from 1 September to 31 December 2026, based at Poikkijoen day-care. Duties include care, upbringing and guidance of children in line with early childhood education goals, in collaboration with the team. The position mainly involves shift work in a group. Eligibility requires a foundation degree in education and guidance or social and health care, or another suitable qualification with substantial modules in child care, upbringing and teaching. Other suitable qualifications may also be considered. Evening, night and weekend work is required. We also value good interpersonal skills and the ability to handle changing situations.
