Land Use Director

Lead Mäntsälä’s land use, housing and mobility results area and manage a 20-person team. Responsible for developing the municipality’s planning, zoning, land use policy, building supervision and public transport, and for promoting a safe, functional and attractive living environment in collaboration with residents, businesses, decision-makers and partners. The role includes participating in municipal governance as a member of the management team and as the presenter on the municipal development board, and acting as a key adviser in strategic decision making. The municipality emphasizes a growth-oriented, development-minded and community-focused culture, and offers partial remote work options. The salary and terms follow the municipal collective agreement. Total salary: 6944.78 EUR per month. Six-month trial period applies upon appointment; a medical certificate is required before the appointment decision is finalized.
