Head of Global Installation The Head of Global Installation is the executive accountable for leading the company’s global installation transformation agenda, ensuring that installation evolves from fragmented, experience-based execution into a digitally orchestrated, system-led capability. The role defines the future operating model for installation by integrating digital technologies, automation, robotics, safety-by-design principles, quality excellence, and artificial intelligence into frontline execution. Through enterprise-wide leadership, the role transforms installation performance into a competitive advantage while building the capabilities, standards and talent required for the next generation of on-site operations. Scope Global ownership of installation transformation and installation excellence. Leadership of the global installation operating model, standards and capability development. Oversight of installation performance, productivity, safety and quality across all Areas and Frontlines. Accountability for the integration of digital technologies, AI, automation and robotics into installation execution. Global sponsor for installation workforce transformation, capability development and future ways of working. Key responsibilities Own Global Installation Performance Establish the global vision and roadmap for installation excellence, in Modernization and NBS. Drive the transition from experience-based execution to system-led installation performance. Define performance targets, governance mechanisms and improvement priorities for installation operations globally. Lead Installation Digital Transformation Drive the transformation from fragmented and manual installation practices to digitally orchestrated execution. Lead the deployment of real-time visibility, data-driven decision making and digital installation management capabilities. Champion the development and adoption of digital twins and advanced installation technologies, ensuring they translate into measurable business outcomes. Define the Future Installation Workforce Lead the evolution from traditional installation models toward human-machine collaboration. Shape the integration of automation and robotics into installation operations. Drive the redesign of roles, skills, competencies and workforce capabilities globally. Establish future workforce strategies that enable sustainable productivity improvement and operational resilience. Own Safety and Quality by Design Lead the transition from compliance-driven safety and quality practices toward technology-enabled prevention. Define global standards for safety and quality embedded into methods, systems and tools. Promote a culture where operational excellence is designed into the system rather than dependent on individual intervention. Lead AI Adoption in Installation Define how artificial intelligence is leveraged across installation planning and execution. Drive AI-enabled capabilities for execution sequencing, risk prediction and performance management. Ensure AI is deployed as a force multiplier that enhances productivity, decision making and workforce effectiveness. Success measures (KPI’s) Installation safety & quality performance and proactive risk reduction. Installation productivity and predictability improvement. Workforce capability development and future skill readiness. Digital adoption and maturity across installation operations, including AI adoption and measurable business outcomes from AI-enabled execution. Automation and robotics deployment impact. Leadership profile The ideal candidate: Operates comfortably at executive and board level. Has demonstrated success leading large-scale transformation programs. Combines operational credibility with strong technology and digital acumen. Understands how to translate strategy into business outcomes at global scale. Leads effectively through influence across functions, geographies and cultures. Is recognized as a change leader capable of transforming technology into culture and performance.
