We are looking for an experienced plate welder / installer to join heavy industrial manufacturing projects. In this role, you will not be welding thin sheet metal on a production line. Instead, you will be involved in manufacturing and assembling heavy structures and large-scale assemblies. The work is varied and challenging, and every project offers an opportunity to demonstrate your expertise. You will also work in an environment where safe working practices and high-quality workmanship go hand in hand. Employment may start with shorter project assignments, but for a skilled professional there is also the opportunity for long-term employment. What the job includes: Assembly, tack welding, and installation of heavy structures according to technical drawings. Multi-pass welding (MIG/MAG 135/136/138) on material thicknesses up to 100 mm. Processing of wear-resistant and high-strength steels such as Hardox and Strenx. Preheating, heat control, and preparation of demanding welded joints. Mechanical installation work and component assembly. Following safe working practices in all stages of work. What we expect from you: Experience as a plate welder, welder, or installer in heavy industry. Ability to read technical drawings and work independently. Experience in MAG welding and thick material processing. Willingness to travel and work across the Ostrobothnia region. Valid or easily renewable welding qualifications. Valid hot work and occupational safety cards. Strong safety mindset and understanding of safe working methods. Careful and responsible working attitude when handling heavy components.
