Shift Supervisor at the Källan test facility in Loviisa, responsible for organizing daily activities at the plant site, ensuring safe, reliable and efficient operation of the electrolyzer. Acts as the on-site lead for the operator team and team lead, while actively participating in the operation of the electrolyzer during the shift. Responsibilities
- Organize the daily operation of the facility on-site
- Lead and guide the on-site operator team
- Plan and coordinate tasks according to production and testing schedules
- Ensure plant safety and compliance with LOTO procedures
- Perform risk assessments and implement necessary safety measures
- Supervise fault reporting and work by subcontractors and service partners
- Create and maintain plant documentation, such as user manuals
- Participate in testing design and develop best practices
Requirements
- Electrical, mechanical, or chemical engineering degree or equivalent technical competence
- Strong experience in operating industrial facilities, preferably process or energy industries
- Experience in supervisory responsibilities and team leadership
- Good knowledge of safety systems, including work permit and LOTO practices
- Basic knowledge of process control systems (DCS) and IT tools
- Fluent in Finnish and English, spoken and written
