About the role

Lead, Account Management (Jakarta based) - Agoda. As an Area (Account) Manager for Indonesia, you will act as team lead of the region. Your objectives will be to manage the team of account managers and understand/fill gaps in the market to ensure best in class supply quality and to grow Agoda footprint in your region. Requirements include Bachelor or equivalent, MBA a plus, 5-10 years’ sales experience, 3 years leading teams, strong Excel and data visualization, analytical mindset, strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate value proposition, and a proactive attitude. Responsibilities

  • Act as a team lead of the region
  • Help the management team to build a strategy to significantly increase Agoda footprint in the region
  • Coordinate with senior management on strategic planning and objectives
  • Conduct market research into trends in the industry and market to ensure competitiveness
  • Represent the company at tradeshows, workshops and events
  • Develop and own relationships with key decision makers at hotels, tech partners, and other partners
  • Insure Best in Class Supply
  • Build a 360 vision of quality of supply and plan to fix gaps
  • Lead a team of market managers in managing hotel partnerships
  • Support partner visits according to internal goals
  • Develop tools and processes to contribute to productivity
  • Implement strategies and promotions with partners to maintain competitive advantage
  • Develop a High Performing team
  • Help in recruitment
  • Coach team

Requirements

  • Bachelor or equivalent degree
  • MBA is a plus
  • 5-10 years' experience as Sales in travel/e-commerce
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience leading successful teams in e-commerce or travel industry roles
  • Exceptional Excel and data visualization skills
  • Analytical mindset with data-driven decision making
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to report to senior management
  • Ability to communicate value proposition and solutions to partners
  • Proactive 'get it done' attitude
  • Willingness to adapt to change
