AI Solution and Platform Architect

Do you want to design solutions that bring together generative AI, agents, cloud, data and modern software development as production-ready services? We are looking for an AI Solution and Platform Architect to build AI-first solutions for demanding enterprise and financial-sector clients. In this role, you will do more than create architecture diagrams: you will put architecture into practice together with developers, agentic engineering specialists, quality experts and client decision-makers. What you will get to do Design AI-first solutions for enterprise environments. Build architecture that combines cloud, data, AI, DevOps and governance requirements. Ensure that solutions fit the client’s platform, governance model and decision points. Support teams from business intent through to a production-ready solution. Prepare architecture options, impact analyses, implementation proposals and ADR materials to support decision-making. Ensure that reusable AI components, such as workflows, prompts, evaluation structures and integration models, are created in a controlled and architecturally sustainable way. Help teams adopt architecture and platform practices. Provide technical direction between client and HiQ teams. What you bring Experience in solution architecture, platform architecture, enterprise architecture or lead developer roles. Understanding of cloud, data and integration architectures. Experience with modern software development and DevOps, as well as building production-critical services. Understanding of generative AI, LLM solutions, RAG and agentic AI models. Experience preparing architecture documentation and decisions, and the ability to visualise and simplify complex subject matter. Experience in a regulated or security-critical environment. Fluent Finnish and English. An advantage Hands-on experience implementing solutions. Understanding of, for example, Azure, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric or Microsoft Foundry environments, or comparable cloud, data and AI platforms. Experience with, for example, MLOps or LLMOps practices, or the architecture of agent-based solutions. Experience with, for example, ArchiMate, domain architecture or platform thinking. Working arrangements The role follows a hybrid model, with work divided between on-site work in the Helsinki metropolitan area and remote work. The amount of on-site work will be specified according to client needs, so we hope you are ready for flexible hybrid working.
