Design Engineer

Design Engineer position within Würth’s building division, focused on Varifix mounting solutions for residential and commercial facilities across Finland. The role combines technical design, practical project work, customer collaboration, and support for field sales. You will design mounting solutions for HVAC, electrical, building automation, cooling, structural, and industrial installations, as well as pre-fabrication for building technology. Your duties include load calculations, selection of components and materials, and preparation of technical 2D/3D drawings, BIMs, details and bills of materials. You will advise customers and our sales organization on technical questions and participate in site inspections when needed. The position suits someone with a few years of experience in HVAC, building services or structural design, with strong 3D modeling skills and CAD experience (AutoCAD, Revit, MagiCAD or SolidWorks). A suitable technical degree (HVAC, mechanical or building engineer or a master’s degree) provides a solid foundation; other related technical qualifications may also be suitable. Excellent teamwork and proactive work approach, plus willingness to travel within the country, are expected.
