Excavation Labourer

We are looking for diligent shovel operators for a variety of earthmoving tasks. We are seeking shovel labourers for our client companies on diverse construction sites. The job mainly involves assisting a excavator operator and performing earthmoving with a shovel. Please mention your experience and interest in your application, as assignments are determined by your skills and motivation. We expect a proactive and autonomous work attitude. Even if you do not yet have much industry experience, you can compensate with enthusiasm to learn and do. The work is physical, so a good basic fitness helps. If you feel you are proficient with shoveling and have a positive attitude, you are the worker we are looking for. The job requires a valid occupational safety card and being of legal working age. Having your own car helps for commuting to several sites, but it is not a prerequisite for getting the job. Where and when? The job is gig- based, so the work sites vary by gigs; Jyväskylä or possibly its nearby areas. Working hours are typically weekdays 7:00–15:30. Gig work offers freedom – it is a flexible alternative, as a gig worker you can choose the periods when you want to receive work and when you do not. You gain freedom to align your working hours with studies, family life, holidays or hobbies. However, remember that you only get paid for hours worked. Gig work is also varied, as you get to see different sites and perform different tasks. Additionally, from a networking perspective, meeting new people at sites is an advantage for your career. The right workers may have the opportunity to stay longer term! What do we offer you? The chance to work on varied tasks and get to know different sites! We offer all our workers at least the pay typical for the infra field, generally around 13.59€/h – 15.71€/h for a underground/earthmoving worker, depending on your prior experience.
