HVAC Project Manager

Are you an experienced HVAC design project manager with experience in preparing condition assessments and surveys and an interest in early-stage investigations for basic renovations? Sweco in Helsinki offers an interesting opportunity to join the HVAC design team. As an HVAC project manager you will be responsible for the project management of HVAC design for repair and renovation projects. The role emphasizes determining the technical condition of existing buildings, preparing condition assessments, and participating in early-stage investigations and project planning before the actual design phase begins. You will explore building systems, identify repair needs, and support clients in finding appropriate solutions in early project stages. You will lead design work, act as the client’s trusted partner, and ensure projects move forward on time, with quality and within budget. Our projects mainly involve repairs and major renovations of schools, kindergartens, and office buildings, including conversions. We value experience from smaller technically demanding feasibility studies to large renovation projects. Depending on your expertise you may also act as the lead HVAC designer on projects. You will work closely with clients, other design disciplines, and Sweco’s broad expert network. Your office is located in Helsinki. We expect you to have strong project management and interpersonal skills, customer-oriented and solution-focused approach. You have at least five years of experience in HVAC design and project management, and knowledge of renovations, condition assessments and technical surveys. You are interested in early-stage investigations and supporting the client before the actual design work begins. You also have a suitable university degree (AMK/YAMK/DI). Knowledge of school, kindergarten, office and conversion projects is an asset. Proficiency in Finnish is required for producing reports and client documents. Revit is an advantage; AutoCAD is available in our toolkit. You are proactive, cooperative, and responsible, eager to develop your skills continually.
