Havukallion päiväkoti in Vantaa is seeking a permanent Early Childhood Education Teacher to start 1 September 2026. Havukallion day care is located in a nature-rich, wooded residential area with good transport links. The unit has five groups and recently renovated spaces. We emphasize inclusive, warm interaction with each child, recognizing strengths and encouraging play, involvement, curiosity, and language development. Our pedagogy focuses on emotional and social skills and language development, with opportunities to supervise and mentor student teachers. Our team uses the ProVaka method (Positive Group Learning in Early Childhood Education). We offer a supportive work community and opportunities for professional development and involvement in leadership. Requirements include strong Finnish language skills and good collaboration abilities. The recruitment process may include video interviews. The position is full-time with a six-month probation. Salary: 3129.71–3234 EUR per month, with extra allowances for degree and previous experience. A police background check is required, and TB clearance for staff working with young children.
