Practical Nurse

We are seeking a substitute practical nurse for Hyvinkää acute ward, H3. The role involves working in a multidisciplinary team with doctors, nurses, practical nurses and physiotherapists to provide care and rehabilitation for a broad patient group in acute ward settings. The position is shift work including evenings, weekends and nights, with flexible arrangements possible. Required qualifications include a social and health care sector basic qualification (practical nurse) or equivalent vocational qualification. The role requires competence in advanced medication administration during the probationary period, and fluent Finnish oral and written skills. Experience in acute ward care is valued; good teamwork and willingness to share expertise are appreciated. Knowledge of Pegasos Omni patient information system is used; Rafaela care scale experience is an asset. The position is temporary (14.9–31.12.2026). Salary is 2935.15 EUR/month plus experience-based increase. Vaccination proof and TB screening as per health requirements. A criminal record extract is required before starting work with the elderly.
