Childcare Worker

A temporary position for a qualified childcare worker at Kilterin daycare, Vantaa, to cover parental leave from 10 Aug 2026 to 31 Dec 2026. The job involves three shifts in a 24/7 daycare, with engaging pedagogical activities for children during day and evening hours and weekends. Our approach emphasizes small-group pedagogy, child participation and being listened to, positive pedagogy, and slow-paced interactions that allow children to think and reflect. The workplace features modern spaces including a gym, studio, nature study room, and a large outdoor area for outdoor pedagogy. The role requires good Finnish communication skills (spoken and written). Experience in shift work in early childhood education is an advantage. Salary: €2,610.95–€2,684.59 per month, with time-in-service allowances of 3–8% based on prior experience. A security background check and possible drug test are required.
