Food Services Coordinator

We are looking for a Food Services Coordinator (for example, someone with a vocational qualification in restaurant and catering) for a fixed-term position at Tukena Hirvinummi from 1 November 2026 to 31 October 2027. The position is full-time, and working hours are generally 8:00–16:00. Tukena Hirvinummi as a workplace Hirvinummi in Kurikka provides residential services for 22 customers who need special support. Hirvinummi also provides day activities, personal assistance and supported housing services. As Food Services Coordinator, you will receive a thorough induction and take part in the everyday life and celebrations of our service unit, gaining an insight into the life of our unique customer group. Our multidisciplinary team consists of 19 professionals who share a wholehearted commitment to working for our residents. Your duties as Food Services Coordinator The Food Services Coordinator is responsible for customer food services in accordance with the company’s values, the service unit’s objectives and its operating system. Responsibilities also include planning and preparing food services according to customers’ individual needs and making purchases according to jointly agreed practices. The coordinator prepares several special diets at Hirvinummi and acts as an expert on nutrition. Hirvinummi prepares two hot meals, breakfast, afternoon coffee and an evening snack every day. The role also includes stocktaking ingredients and tableware and maintaining kitchen hygiene. We require the selected person to have a suitable vocational qualification in food services, skills in preparing different diet meals, suitability under the Communicable Diseases Act and a food hygiene passport. A valid criminal record extract must be presented before employment begins. Pay The position-specific base salary is €2,493.06–€2,719.93 per month, depending on years of experience (private social services collective agreement, G20C). Interested?
