Personal Assistant

As a personal assistant you support the client in situations where they need help from another person, for example with mobility, household tasks or recreational activities. The role aims to support the client’s autonomy and ability to live life in their own way. The work is down-to-earth and adaptable to different situations. Days can vary a lot, and tasks are planned according to the client’s needs. No prior experience is required as we will train you. We want the job to suit both the assistant and the client, and shifts are planned by mutual agreement to keep everyday life workable and clear. We are now looking for a part-time personal assistant for our client in Pietarsaari. The client is a man who mainly needs help with leisure activities outside the home, such as supporting sports activities. The assistant must be responsible and trustworthy. Working hours are about 20 hours per month, roughly twice a week. The shifts could be on Monday, Wednesday and/or Thursday evenings. A criminal background check is required for the person chosen to work with people with disabilities (Act on the supervision of social and health care).
