We are seeking a part-time healthcare assistant for the Pohjanmaan hyvinvointialue (Oulu region’s health and social welfare area) with an initial placement at Wester-koti A in Maalahti. The required qualification is a Lähihoitajan tutkinto or an equivalent qualification under the Act on health care professionals (564/1994) or the Government's Decree on social care professionals (153/2016). Proficiency in both official languages (Finnish and Swedish) in speaking and writing is required. Applicants with a Lähihoitaja qualification must be registered in both the Permit and Supervisory Board’s professional registers, Terhikki and Suosikki. Additionally, the selected candidate must have a valid vaccination certificate under the Infectious Diseases Act (1227/2016) §48 and a criminal record extract as stated in the Criminal Records Act §6(2). A trial period applies.
