Currently, LUVN's substitution treatment coordination is responsible for the client processes of opioid substitution treatment organized as a purchased service, as well as cooperation with service providers. There are approximately 400 clients in substitution treatment organized as a purchased service in the LUVN area. Starting in January 2027, the opioid substitution treatment team will also be responsible for the assessments and initiations of opioid substitution treatments for residents of Espoo and Kauniainen. The working group will consist of a multidisciplinary team. As a registered nurse at the service point, your duties include, among others, reception work related to the assessment and initiation of opioid substitution treatment, primary nursing, medication management, cooperation with parties related to the patient's care (specialized healthcare, ward operations, housing services, purchased service providers), and the organization and monitoring of care for purchased substitution treatment patients. In this role, you will be able to utilize your expertise and develop new operating models in a fresh team and operation. Workplace name and address: Substitution Treatment Coordination, Kalaonnentie 8, 02230 Espoo. Working hours: General working hours, 38 h 15 min / week. The position is permanent. Eligibility requirement: Licensed registered nurse. The position requires vaccination protection in accordance with Section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act and a tuberculosis screening in accordance with Section 55 of the Communicable Diseases Act. We value good interaction skills, experience in substance abuse work and/or opioid substitution treatment, and the ability to operate in a multidisciplinary work environment. We expect fluent oral and written proficiency in Finnish, as well as at least satisfactory skills in Swedish.
