This vacancy is for a dynamic and principled Pre-Analytical Assistant Ward Manager at the HUS Diagnostics Center, based at Jorvi Hospital Laboratory. The role combines leadership of daily operations in collaboration with the ward manager and another assistant ward manager, responsibility for staff onboarding, ensuring competence, and contributing to development of processes as a pre-analytical expert. It also includes clinical work in ward and outpatient sample collection, patient- and customer-centric service development, and close internal and external collaboration with various partners. The incumbent will also manage unit budgeting and staff rosters. The position requires strong pre-analytical expertise and management, nurse or biomedical scientist qualifications, excellent interpersonal skills, self-direction, and a service-oriented, collaborative attitude.
