Procurement Manager

We are seeking a Procurement Manager for the earthworks category to join SRV’s centralized procurement unit. The role leads the procurement of earthworks for SRV’s construction projects nationwide, from early project stages through to contract drafting and supplier selection. The role includes pre-tender preparation, bid comparison, and contract negotiations, and supports tendering activities and design guidance while advancing quality, environmental, safety, and sustainability objectives in procurement. The person will coordinate multiple project purchases, ensure smooth collaboration with internal stakeholders and suppliers, monitor supplier markets, market conditions and price trends, and actively build and develop supplier networks to meet project and SRV goals. The work location is Helsinki (Kalasaari Helsinki) with predominantly on-site work and partial remote work possible. The candidate should have several years of earthworks procurement experience, strong technical understanding of earthworks, good negotiation skills, and a business-minded approach. A university or polytechnic degree in construction or related field is expected, as are excellent Finnish and English written and spoken communication skills and strong collaboration and interpersonal abilities. Prior procurement experience is a strong plus, but background in project management or cost control in earthworks projects is acceptable.
