About the role

We are seeking a collaborative, development‑minded early childhood education teacher to join our team at Ylästön day care. The day care is part of the Ylästön unit, consisting of three day cares, led by a joint management model. The successful candidate will work in the pre‑school group in a supportive team including another early childhood teacher, a child caregiver, and an assistant. The facility offers six groups, excellent spacious premises, and access to nearby parks, forests, and river protection areas for outdoor activities. We emphasize children’s friendship and emotional skills and strive for child‑led participation and a calm, inclusive atmosphere. The unit pursues inclusive leadership and respects professional expertise. The position is permanent, with a six‑month trial period. Employment form: permanent full‑time; work time about 38 h 15 min per week. Salary is aligned with the municipal educational staff collective agreement, with allowances for qualifications (varhaiskasvatuksen opettaja kelpoisuus) and a master’s in pedagogy.
