Business Director

Ahlsell is seeking a Business Director for the Network Construction & Infrastructure business area to be responsible for business growth, profitability, and strategic development in Finland. In this role, you will not just maintain an existing model but actively influence the direction of the business, build new growth opportunities, and create solutions for customers' changing needs. Key responsibilities include drafting and implementing the business strategy, developing sales and profitability, managing customer and supplier relationships, and continuously improving the product range and market offering. You will lead, coach, and grow the team's expertise while monitoring market trends and competition. The role involves extensive collaboration with other Ahlsell business units and the Nordic organization. The ideal candidate is either an experienced business director or an ambitious professional seeking their next leadership step, with a proven ability to lead business, enable people to succeed, and build sustainable growth. Experience in network construction, infrastructure, the energy sector, or technical trade is required. Fluency in Finnish and English is essential. The position can be based at the Vantaa headquarters, the Hyvinkää logistics center, or other Ahlsell locations in Finland, and involves travel to meet customers and suppliers.
