Merikarvian kunta is seeking a temporary school assistant (koulunkäynninohjaaja) for Merikarvian yhtenäiskoulu and high school from 14 September 2026 to 5 June 2027 or starting by agreement. The role is considered to benefit from good collaboration skills, flexibility and ability to cope with change. Merikarvian yhtenäiskoulu and lukio are located at Merikarvian koulukeskus, where about 300 primary students and about 80 high school students study. Approximately 50 staff work at the school complex. Nearby are the municipality library, sports field and skating rink. You will receive strong support from a motivating work community. Eligibility requires a professional or special qualification in education or a comparable qualification that enables you to work in the role. Salary and other terms are determined by the KVTES agreement. The position will be filled on a six-month trial basis.
