Systems Development Manager

Kaskea Group is now looking for a SYSTEMS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER for manufacturing. You will develop production and business operations using the ERP already in use, other systems and software being introduced, and act as the ERP superuser. Together with a partner, you will participate in defining and developing new functions and, when necessary, implementing and testing them. You will also support the introduction of new ways of working and features. You will work with system and software suppliers on integration specifications. Your key tasks include: - Developing and ensuring interoperability between the ERP, production planning software and other systems - Improving production planning and control - Developing quotation calculation, cost awareness and post-calculation, for example with AI - Developing capacity and materials management and anticipating delivery risks using AI - Improving data quality for product structures and work stages - Developing Power BI reporting - Developing RPA solutions for recurring manual tasks We expect experience and understanding of manufacturing and production processes, as well as experience using systems and software in their development projects. We hope you have a strong interest in using modern digitalisation solutions in practical production operations. You can communicate with production, sales, finance and system suppliers, and take development ideas from plans to working solutions. The goal is to improve delivery reliability, production predictability, data quality and operational efficiency, and to reduce unnecessary manual work. We hope the person will start around the turn of the year. Your main workplace will be in Kauhava, but the role offers a reasonable opportunity for hybrid work when duties allow. You will support the development of several production units, and the work requires occasional travel between the company’s locations in the Kauhava area. You will report directly to the CEO. IT maintenance is outsourced, so daily server and IT support are not part of the role.
