Tax Clerk

Lead with the role of a Tax Clerk responsible for onboarding and managing German customers on the Pennylane platform. Responsibilities include onboarding new clients and accounting firms, serving as primary contact for existing customers, conducting health-checks and reviews to maximize satisfaction and retention, collaborating with the German Sales team and management to optimize processes and provide product feedback, and becoming a product expert for the German financial and accounting landscape. Requirements include 2-5 years of experience in accounting or account management, vocational training as a tax clerk or related finance studies, strong communication and empathy, proactive hands-on mentality in a startup environment, willingness to travel for onboarding in Paris HQ and monthly visits within Germany, fluent German (C2 or native) and strong English.
