Child Day Care Worker

A substitute position for a child caregiver at Piipari-Moision Daycare Moisio unit is open for 16.9.2026 – 30.7.2027. The unit has four groups and children at the daycare are aged 1–5 years. There are no preschool-aged children in the daycare. The substitute’s task is to cover missing staff in different groups as needed. Qualifications: according to the Early Childhood Education Act (540/2018) §28; for the child care worker role, a basic degree in education and guidance or a social and health care basic degree or other equivalent applicable qualification, including substantial components of child care, upbringing and teaching. A criminal records extract must be supplied to the employer. Experience as a child caregiver is beneficial. We value good collaboration skills and stress tolerance as groups may vary daily or even within the same day.
