We are looking for a Special Education Teacher for the Pelttarinkatu unit to strengthen our pedagogical expertise in our day-care. The position starts as soon as possible according to the contract. As a Special Education Teacher you work in the various phases of the support process and collaborate with the staff in groups in parallel and co-teaching formats. You participate in supporting the pedagogical leadership of the day-care. You are part of the day-care management team, which also includes the day-care director and deputy director. A regional advisory Special Education Teacher supports your work from their side. Your duties include collaboration with various partners and active interaction with guardians. Our operation is guided by a warm, positive and respectful attitude towards the child. We recognise children’s strengths and use them as the basis for planning and implementing activities. We hope you will bring your expertise to support children's learning, development and well-being. Eligibility is defined by the Varhaiskasvatuslaki (540/2018) §30. The successful applicant must provide the criminal record extract described in the Criminal Records Act §6 section 2. A probationary period applies.
