This vacancy is for a substitute special education teacher at Jurvan yhtenäiskoulu, Tuiskun special classes, providing full-time special education instruction for primary and lower secondary school students. The position runs from November 12, 2026 to April 4, 2027. Jurva Comprehensive School serves about 170 students in the elementary grades with 11 general education classes, and about 110 students in the upper grades with 6 general education classes. The school emphasizes collaborative, development‑oriented work; support for teachers includes additional monthly compensation and funds for materials and learning aids. The head of learning support coordinates the organisation and development of learning support across the municipality. We require eligibility to teach in special education; strong collaboration skills, student-centered approach, respectful interaction, and flexibility to adapt and develop activities as situations change are valued.
