Special Education Needs Teacher

The position is a substitute for a Special Education Needs Teacher for Jurvan Comprehensive School’s classes for primary and secondary students, during the period 12 November 2026 to 4 April 2027. The replacement site is Jurvan Comprehensive School, in the special education units, where full-time special education is provided to pupils in grades 1–9. The school serves about 170 lower-grade students and 110 upper-grade students across multiple classes. We seek skilled and development-minded professionals in the field of special education. At Kurikka, special education teachers are supported with development-oriented work approaches and additional compensation; teaching aids and materials funding are available. The support officer for learning provides coordination and development of learning support within the municipality. Applicants must have the required teaching qualification in Special Education. Strong collaboration skills, student-centered approach, and the ability to adapt and develop operations according to situations are valued.
