Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy production-grade AI systems
- Build, deploy, and maintain scalable APIs for AI/ML models
- Own end-to-end delivery of AI solutions
- Design Retrieval-Augmented Generation systems with vector databases
- Build and orchestrate AI agents
- Evaluate and select LLMs and foundation models
- Optimize model inference for latency, cost, throughput
- Ensure reliability and observability of deployed models
- Establish engineering best practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams
- Drive structure in fast-paced environments
- Take ownership of ambiguous problems and deliver production-ready outcomes
Requirements
- 5+ years of Python
- ~10 years total software engineering or data experience
- Production-grade APIs (prefer FastAPI)
- LLMs and LLMOps including prompt engineering
- Fine-tuning
- Vector databases
- Experience building AI agents (LangGraph, LangChain, CrewAI)
- Model deployment and serving
- CI/CD pipelines (Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions)
- Large-scale text datasets
