An international mining company is seeking a Vice President Business Planning & Performance to provide strategic leadership across its South American operations and growth portfolio. Reporting directly to the executive leadership team, this position will be responsible for driving corporate planning, performance management, capital allocation and strategic decision making across a multi asset business. The successful candidate will work closely with operational, technical, commercial and finance leaders to ensure the organisation is positioned to achieve its long-term growth objectives. Requirements include a minimum degree qualification in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Accounting or a related discipline, significant leadership experience within mining, metals, natural resources or another capital-intensive industry, demonstrated success in strategic planning, business performance, commercial management, corporate finance or related leadership functions, strong understanding of capital allocation, investment evaluation and value creation within operating and development asset portfolios, experience supporting executive leadership and Board level decision making, and international experience and exposure to multi asset operations. This is a highly visible leadership position offering the opportunity to influence strategy, growth and performance across a significant mining business. The successful individual will play a key role in shaping long term value creation while partnering closely with executive leadership on the company’s next phase of growth.
