The Salvation Army is seeking a Social Instructor for the Koho training program in Tampere. Koho is a low-threshold group that meets weekly to watch video lectures, share a lunch, and discuss thoughts under the guidance of a social instructor. The program aims to help people find inner resources to manage their lives, covering topics such as daily management, finances, debt, self-esteem, relationships, and emotional skills. Each meeting includes a devotional moment. The instructor works as part of a small multidisciplinary team consisting of professionals, volunteers, and rehabilitation workers. Responsibilities include organizing the Koho training, group guidance, individual service guidance for participants, and making financial support decisions. A significant part of the role involves developing the training, designing and producing materials, and monitoring and reporting project results to the funder. The role also involves finalizing online materials and potentially training other branches across Finland on the Koho model in the final stages of the project. The position is full-time (38h 20min/week), primarily daytime work on weekdays, with occasional evenings and weekends. Work is primarily onsite, though occasional remote days can be agreed upon.
