As a school nurse you will contribute to the health, wellbeing and study outcomes of compulsory school students. You will work in a multidisciplinary, networked way with a doctor, psychologist, school social worker, school staff and other partners as part of your daily practice. Work in school health care is diverse and independent, requiring a responsible and autonomous approach and good organizational skills. You will be supported by skilled school nurse colleagues and your immediate supervisor. We offer thorough orientation to the tasks. We invite candidates to interviews within the application period. Interview days are Mon 14 Sep and Thu 17 Sep. The workplace name and address: Koulu- ja opiskeluterveydenhuollon palvelut, Kamreerintie 6, 02770 Espoo. Working hours: 38h 15min/week. The position is permanent. Qualification requirement is a licensed nurse. The role requires vaccination protection under the Infectious Diseases Act §48 and tuberculosis screening under §55. A criminal background check per Criminal Records Act §6.2 is required for the selected candidate. Random drug testing may be requested under the Länsi-Uudenmaan wellbeing district drug program.
