We are looking for a leader of people and results with strong commercial expertise to serve as Regional Manager for a store specializing in literacy and a better life. We are seeking a Regional Manager for a permanent employment contract to be responsible for the Southern Finland store cluster, which includes 19 stores and approximately 170 employees. The Regional Manager will act as the supervisor for 7 store managers and hold a key position within the Sales and Marketing Director's team. The position is full-time, located in the capital region and its surroundings across several locations; therefore, a willingness for regular travel between stores is essential. A driver's license is required. As a Regional Manager at Suomalainen Kirjakauppa As Regional Manager, you will be responsible for the overall commercial results of your region's stores, the consistency of operating models, and the continuous development of the stores. You will lead your area of responsibility with a customer-centric approach, bringing strong customer insight, a growth mindset, and an open-minded perspective on developing sales and customer experience. Your key areas of responsibility include: - Result responsibility and profitability development for the region's stores - Store concept and visual identity, merchandising - Supervisory work and sparring/supporting store managers - Developing the expertise and training of regional staff - Most importantly, maintaining and developing Finland's best customer interaction and service concept You will work in close cooperation with store managers and be present in the daily operations of the stores – listening, guiding, and accelerating change when necessary. You will lead your region's stores goal-orientedly but humanely, keeping the customer and the result clearly at the center. You are a strong commercial expert capable of combining different perspectives and always shifting the focus to the customer. You dare to ask: How does the customer experience this? and you systematically put this thinking into practice. You enjoy engaging people and building cooperation that is reflected in both results and daily efficiency.
