Fire protection technician

We are seeking a fire protection technician for diverse extinguishing system maintenance and fire safety tasks in the Varsinais-Suomi and Uusimaa regions. We want a practical, proactive person who approaches work with energy and completes assigned tasks with high quality. In the role you will handle inspections, maintenance and installations of portable extinguishers (hand extinguishers, fire buckets) and other basic fire-fighting equipment, document maintenance work, and advise customers on extinguishing equipment and fire safety. The job is mobile and independent, so we value responsible work ethic, customer-service orientation, and the ability to plan your own day. Your duties include: inspections and maintenance of hand extinguishers; inspections, maintenance and installations of extinguishing devices and other early-fire-fighting tools; documenting maintenance work and recording necessary information; advising customers on extinguishing equipment and fire safety; independently planning your own work and customer visits. We expect: a brisk, proactive and responsible approach to work; ability to work independently and take care of agreed tasks; good customer-service and interpersonal skills and fluent Finnish; a practical approach and problem-solving ability; willingness to learn new things and develop your skills; readiness for mobile work and work at various customer sites. Previous experience in extinguisher maintenance, fire safety or other technical maintenance/installation tasks is an asset. But we value the right attitude and genuine eagerness to learn.
