Skydio is seeking a Senior Product Manager to shape the future of Fleet Management and Internal Tooling across the Skydio Cloud platform. You will lead both the customer-facing fleet management software that powers our customers’ drone operations and the internal systems that enable exceptional customer experiences. Your work will transform fragmented workflows, telemetry, service data, and real-world field challenges into a cohesive platform vision, coordinating with Cloud, UX, hardware, firmware, operations, support, and go-to-market teams from discovery through launch and adoption. The role is based onsite five days a week at our HQ in San Mateo, CA, with relocation assistance available if needed. Responsibilities include owning and evolving the roadmap for Fleet Management and Internal Tooling (device inventory and health, pilot and organization administration, troubleshooting, support, service and repair workflows); defining end-to-end dock service experiences from issue detection to closure; collaborating with design, engineering, and GTM teams; prototyping intuitive workflows; engaging with customers and stakeholders to develop user personas and requirements; communicating plans and progress clearly across stakeholders; and delivering impactful product releases with cross-functional teams. Qualifications include 6+ years of defining and delivering market-leading software products (preferably in fleet, logistics, mobility, or other complex operations), experience wireframing and collaborating with UX design, an AI-forward mindset, familiarity with data modeling and API-driven architectures, strong technical fluency across autonomy, firmware, and cloud engineering, excellent written and verbal communication, and a willingness to travel to customer sites. FAA Part 107 certification within the first 60 days is strongly encouraged and may be required. Bonus points for experience with drones, autonomous systems, robotics, industrial IoT, or related fields; experience with fleet management, asset lifecycle, work-order, field-service, RMA, or repair-management systems; and experience serving public safety or other regulated, high-availability customers. Relocation assistance may be provided for eligible roles. Compensation includes base salary, stock options, and comprehensive benefits; the annual base salary range is $196,000 - $240,000.
