Early Childhood Teacher

We are hiring an early childhood teacher for the 3–5 age group at Aurinkokiven Daycare in Vantaa. The role involves planning, implementing, developing and evaluating the child group’s learning environment and daily activities in accordance with the Vantaa early childhood education framework and unit plan, in collaboration with the rest of the teaching staff. The candidate should have strong teamwork and interaction skills, sensitivity to individual child needs, and experience working in a multi-disciplinary setting. We emphasize child friendship, social skills and participation, and a warm interaction with children and families. The unit uses the ProVaka model to support children’s social skills, and you will work within its principles with other staff. There are clear leadership structures and opportunities to participate in unit leadership discussions. The position is full-time, temporary, with a contract until 31.08.2026 or as agreed, starting as soon as a suitable candidate is found. Salary is 3129.46–3234.53 EUR/month, with allowances for higher qualifications and experience. A security background check is required.
