Client Coordinator

Are you looking to help develop high-quality around-the-clock care and create a meaningful daily life for residents? We are seeking a Client Coordinator for the Akvamariini group home at Kivelä Senior Center starting 5 October 2026 or by agreement. The role involves supporting residents' functioning, participation and a meaningful everyday life, and participating in developing unit operations together with a supervisor and the team. The work is practical caregiving. Shifts vary, with emphasis on weekday mornings and possible evening and weekend hours. Responsibilities include direct resident care (~60% of time), supporting residents’ functioning and participation, planning, implementing and evaluating holistic client work, and supporting the team with your expertise and by example; acting as supervisor when needed. Requirements include understanding of dementia and multi-morbidity in elderly care, good communication and collaboration skills, ability to plan, evaluate and develop operations, flexible, solution-oriented and proactive work approach, and good organizational ability. Desirable: strong experience in around-the-clock elderly care, experience with Apotti patient information system, experience with RAI assessments. Why us? Qualifications include: a suitable higher education degree in social services or health care, registration with the Regional State Administrative Agency, good Finnish language skills, and medical screening requirements (drug testing, occupational health assessment, vaccination and TB clearance). A police background check is required before starting employment.
