About Enginery Enginery is a Finnish, modern, fully employee-owned industrial engineering consultancy where employee well-being is our top priority. We work as a partner to various industrial companies, providing expert and consulting services, most of which involve demanding technical design. Our sectors include marine, mineral processing and paper industries. We also take part in green transition and renewable energy projects. Our customer projects range from product development lasting several years to faster-paced delivery projects. We currently employ around 70 professionals in mechanical, electrical and automation design. Enginery employees share a passion for and interest in technology, as well as a desire to help our customers succeed. Our designers work broadly with the design, modelling and documentation of industrial machinery and equipment. You can influence the projects and equipment you work on. There is demand for both designers who have built up some experience and experienced designers. We participate in customer projects from concept and preliminary design through to commissioning. You will contribute to the mechanical design throughout the project lifecycle and work closely with our electrical and automation designers and end customers. If you wish, you can also take part in testing and commissioning the machines, equipment and automation centres you have designed. We use the most common CAD programs for industrial mechanical design, including Solidworks, Creo, NX, CATIA and Vertex. What we hope for from you: Technical education in mechanical engineering or a related field (engineering or MSc (Tech) degree) Experience in mechanical design Willingness to work at the customer interface across varied projects An interest in contributing to building a high-quality, collaborative engineering consultancy Why join our community? Our office, renovated last summer, is in Käpylä, Helsinki, with good transport connections. There are refreshments and healthy snacks at the office to support your well-being, as well as a private scenic sauna. At weekends, the premises can be used for private evenings, sauna nights or family celebrations. Among other things, we offer the following employment benefits: Your choice of work equipment: a work phone (€1,500), noise-cancelling headphones (Bose/Sony), and a home-office equipment budget (€1,000) to make working as smooth as possible on remote-work days. Remote work and flexibility: we aim to work wherever each employee feels they can work best and most effectively. Product development and project work sometimes require in-person work at customer premises or production facilities, but most of our staff are free to work remotely. Sports and culture benefit: €400 per year with no employee contribution. You can also choose to use it for services such as dental care or massage. A company boat (Buster Magnum) and jet ski (Sea-Doo GTI) for shared use, allowing you to enjoy Helsinki’s maritime setting.
