Senior Cloud Platform Engineer

Nordea is seeking a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer with deep Microsoft Azure experience to join our Cloud Platform Team and take ownership of the Azure Landing Zone. This is a hands-on role. You'll be building new capabilities into the platform as well as keeping what we already run healthy, secure, and reliable. The role supports the Azure environment across the organization with strong emphasis on security, compliance, and operational stability. You will work with Terraform to build Landing Zone infrastructure as code, use Ansible for configuration management, and develop automation in Python and Bash for provisioning and operations. You will create central, reusable Landing Zone solutions to reduce redundant work for application teams, design and operate CI/CD pipelines for Landing Zone changes, and contribute to architecture documentation. You will contribute to automation, network design (VNets, subnets, NSGs, route tables, hub-and-spoke), and hybrid connectivity (ExpressRoute, VPN Gateway) between Azure and on-premises. You will apply zero-trust principles with Entra ID, Azure RBAC, and policy-as-code, and help set governance guardrails under the Cloud Adoption Framework. You will help build observability dashboards and take part in P1/P2 incident response and post-incident improvements. The role requires 5+ years of hands-on cloud engineering with enterprise Azure experience, Terraform, Ansible, Python, Bash, CI/CD, and strong networking knowledge. Hybrid/work model offered.
