Procurement Engineer

As our activities expand, we are seeking skilled and development-minded mechanical, electrical and automation procurement engineers to design and execute MEP procurement on demanding construction projects. Job description: As a Procurement Engineer you will be responsible for the overall procurement process of mechanical, electrical and automation (MEP) across projects, in collaboration with project management, designers and subcontractors. In your role you will ensure cost-efficient, high-quality and on-schedule solutions. Key responsibilities: design and procurement of MEP (LVI, electrical, automation); preparation and comparison of tender requests; contract negotiations and management; development of supplier relations; cost tracking and procurement reporting; cooperation with sites and design teams. What we expect from you: relevant technical education (e.g. AMK Engineer / DI); experience in MEP procurement or contracting; strong cost calculation and contract-technical skills; negotiation skills and systematic work approach; ability to handle multiple procurement packages simultaneously; good interpersonal skills and team spirit. Nice to have: experience from large business, commercial or residential construction projects; knowledge of industry contract terms (e.g. YSE 1998); experience with procurement systems and cost-tracking software.
