Automation Engineer

Senior Automation Engineer role at Prysmian Group in Kirkkonummi. We are looking for a new automation professional to strengthen the plant’s production technology. You will be responsible for automation broadly, developing solutions and performing hands-on technical work. Your duties include leading equipment upgrade projects, resource planning and supervising installation work. You will also perform lifecycle updates, safety measures and production equipment settings. You will support maintenance daily and actively participate in machine design and continuous improvement. The role requires independent and diverse tasks in a growing and evolving environment with many new investments. We expect AMK- or DI-level education in electrical engineering and/or automation, several years of experience in industrial automation design and/or maintenance, knowledge of PLCs (Siemens S5, S7 Classic, S7-1500), knowledge of industrial automation components, especially AC- and DC-motor drives, familiarity with industrial data networks (Profinet, Profibus, ASI), willingness to continuously develop, initiative, teamwork, Finnish and English fluency.
