Practical Nurse Gig Work

We are now looking for new hardworking practical nurses and students in the final stages of their studies (over 120 competence points) to join MediPower’s Mikkeli team for gig work! In gig work, you always get to decide exactly which shifts you want to work! Job description: Our gig-work locations are mainly private care and service homes for older people and people with physical and intellectual disabilities. You can choose your preferred workplaces through our easy-to-use app. Shifts are mainly mornings and evenings on weekdays and weekends, and the work includes general practical-nurse duties depending on the location and its level of care. What we expect from applicants: At MediPower, we want to help develop better everyday life in service units, so it is important to us to welcome cheerful new colleagues who are passionate about their profession. You may be a qualified nurse or a student nearing the end of your studies, and should be proactive and have good interpersonal skills. Having medication permits is a plus, but not an absolute requirement. Employees selected for the role who work in client and patient facilities must have the vaccination protection required under the Communicable Diseases Act. Pay for gig work is agreed individually and ranges from €14.50 to €17 per hour, depending on accumulated experience. In addition, holiday compensation of 9% and shift-specific supplements under the collective agreement are paid. Higher pay is available for several gig shifts, for example €17–18 per hour.
