Join a meaningful role in a supportive team within the pre-analytics unit at the Diagnostics Center of HUS. The Diagnostics Center is Finland’s leading provider of clinical laboratory and imaging services, serving HUS special care and welfare areas. The unit covers multiple medical specialties and national high‑level research and teaching. The Laboratory Technician will work in venous blood sampling, imaging, gynecological sampling, fungal and other analyses, supporting both hospital wards and on-call duties, and contribute to quality and patient safety. Daily work centers on appointment and queue management, becoming a versatile sampler, and collaborating with a team to ensure timely and safe specimen collection and high-quality patient interactions. There are opportunities for development in diverse development and responsibility tasks. Requirements include good communication and teamwork, flexibility, quick mastery of tasks, and strong written and spoken skills in Finnish and adequate skills in another official language.
