Early Childhood Education Teacher

We are seeking an early childhood education teacher for a fixed-term position from 14.9.2026 to 28.7.2027. We are looking for an enthusiastic early childhood education teacher to join the committed and professional top team at Tommilankatu! We value previous experience working with children, but the most important thing for us is an enthusiastic attitude. As an early childhood education teacher, you will act as an expert in early childhood education and be responsible for the planning, implementation, evaluation, and development of high-quality pedagogy with the support of your team. In addition to you, the team consists of another early childhood education teacher and an early childhood education childcare provider. Completed in 2022, our day care center is located with good transport connections. Our activities emphasize physical activity and full-day pedagogy. There are nine children's groups in our facility, two of which are pre-primary education groups operating at Hepokulla school. The current vacancy is in a group for 3-5-year-olds at Tommilankatu day care. Weekly working hours are allocated for the planning, evaluation, and development of activities. Two hours of SAK-time (professional development time) outside the workplace have been reserved, and at Tommilankatu, we ensure that this allocated time is realized. The work requires sufficient oral and written skills in the Finnish language.
