Laboratory Technician

Laboratory internship for a student in Helsinki at the Pitkäkoski Water Purification Plant, teaching in an accredited laboratory environment under the guidance of experienced professionals. The intern will be part of an experienced team, carrying out tasks such as pH determination, calibration of measuring instruments, and analysis of raw, process and drinking water samples, including sampling from the water purification plant. The internship is unpaid and intended for vocational school or higher education students. Requirements: at least 18 years old, studying a laboratory field with at least the first year completed, fluent Finnish, good teamwork and collaboration skills. We expect initiative, meticulousness and interest in the laboratory field. Applications should include a free-form description of where you want to grow, what you wish to learn, and your strengths.
