The factory is in Sorsakoski, about 20 km from Varkaus, 40 km from Pieksämäki and 60 km from Kuopio. The work involves manufacturing professional kitchen furnishings from stainless steel. The position includes assembly work and welding. Welding is done using the TIG method, with sheet metal 0.8–4 mm thick. Working according to drawings and technical instructions is an essential part of the job. We expect applicants to have relevant education for the field or acquired work experience in similar work. The work requires care, precision and the ability to cope with routine and schedule pressure. Finnish language skills are also needed. The work is full-time, 40 hours per week. Work is on weekday morning shifts, but readiness for two-shift work is required. The Technology Industry collective agreement is followed. Pay is according to the agreement at TVR7, with a 5% personal increase added. This is a great opportunity to join Metos's skilled team!
